Job description

As a Partner at TechCredit Partners, you will be a key leader in the firm, responsible for overseeing and driving our most important client engagements, building long-lasting relationships with tech entrepreneurs, and leading the growth of the firm. You will play a central role in deal origination, nurturing investor and partner relationships as well as the overall strategic direction of the business. This is a high-impact role for an entrepreneurial professional with a deep understanding of the tech landscape and a strong track record in investment banking, private credit, or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership: Act as the primary relationship manager for key clients, working closely with tech founders and senior executives to identify and execute on strategic capital-raising initiatives.
  • Deal Origination and Execution: Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of debt financing deals, ensuring that client needs are met with innovative and tailored financial solutions.
  • Business Development: Cultivate relationships with venture capital firms, private equity funds, and other potential partners to drive deal flow and expand the firm's network in the tech ecosystem.
  • Strategic Leadership: Play a key role in shaping the strategic vision and growth of the firm, identifying new opportunities for expansion and enhancing the firm's service offerings.
  • Team Development: Mentor and lead junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Market Insights: Stay at the forefront of market trends and emerging technologies, providing thought leadership within the firm and to our clients.
  • Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or a similar field with a strong focus on the tech industry.
  • Proven Leadership: You have a successful track record of leading client engagements, managing complex transactions, and building long-term relationships with tech founders and investors.
  • Deep Tech Sector Expertise: A strong understanding of the tech ecosystem, including emerging technologies, business models, and key players in the space.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have a proactive approach to business development and growth.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think big-picture while also focusing on the details, balancing the short-term needs of clients with long-term value creation.
  • Networked in Tech: A strong, established network within the tech industry and financial markets, particularly with venture capitalists, private equity funds, and high-growth companies.
